Going on with the aim of teaching students the cultural aspect of the English language, we have dealt during these days with the main festivity in the US: Thanksgiving Day.<\/p>\n
Students from 1\u00ba ESO B, 2\u00ba ESO A, 2\u00ba ESO B, 2\u00ba ESO C, 3\u00ba DICU and 1\u00ba Bachillerato A, with their English teachers Carmen Sorroche and Carmen P\u00e9rez, have made a searching project on the subject and its historical background and they have learnt how important Thanksgiving Day is for Americans.<\/p>\n
And, to decorate the bilingual corner in the school hall, they have designed a big turkey whose feathers are our students\u2019 thanks for the people and things that are important for them. In the case of 1\u00ba ESO B, students have done wonderful bookmarks.<\/p>\n
\u200bContinuando con el prop\u00f3sito de ense\u00f1ar a los alumnos el aspecto cultural de la lengua inglesa, hemos trabajado en estos d\u00edas la principal festividad en Estados Unidos: el D\u00eda de Acci\u00f3n de Gracias.<\/p>\n
Los alumnos de 1\u00ba ESO B, 2\u00ba ESO A, 2\u00ba ESO B, 2\u00ba ESO C, 3\u00ba DICU y 1\u00ba Bachillerato A, con sus profesoras de ingl\u00e9s Carmen Sorroche y Carmen P\u00e9rez, han hecho un trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n sobre el tema y su trasfondo hist\u00f3rico y han aprendido lo importante que Acci\u00f3n de Gracias es para los americanos.<\/p>\n
Y, para decorar las clases y el rinc\u00f3n biling\u00fce del hall del centro, han dise\u00f1ado un gran pavo cuyas plumas son los agradecimientos de nuestros alumnos por las personas y las cosas que son importantes para ellos.
