Going on with the aim of teaching students the cultural aspect of the English language, at the end of November, we have dealt with the main festivity in the US: Thanksgiving Day.
Students from 1o ESO A, B, D and 3o ESO C, D and PMAR, with their English teachers Mercedes Castro, Carmen P\u00e9rez and Pepa Enciso, have made a searching project on the subject and its historical background and they have learnt how important Thanksgiving Day is for Americans.
And, to decorate the classrooms and the school hall, they have designed a big turkey whose feathers are our students\u2019 thanks for the people and things that are important for them.<\/p>\r\n


Continuando con el prop\u00f3sito de ense\u00f1ar a los alumnos el aspecto cultural de la lengua inglesa, a finales de noviembre, hemos trabajado la principal festividad en Estados Unidos: el D\u00eda de Acci\u00f3n de Gracias.
Los alumnos de 1o ESO A, B, D y 3o ESO C, D y PMAR, con sus profesoras de ingl\u00e9s Mercedes Castro, Carmen P\u00e9rez y Pepa Enciso, han hecho un trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n sobre el tema y su trasfondo hist\u00f3rico y han aprendido lo importante que Acci\u00f3n de Gracias es para los americanos.
Y, para decorar las clases y el hall del centro, han dise\u00f1ado un gran pavo cuyas plumas son los agradecimientos de nuestros alumnos por las personas y las cosas que son importantes para ellos.<\/p>\r\n
