As part of the development of the Erasmus+ Project SEED4SEN (Strengthening Environmental Education methoDs for Students with Special Educational Needs), two teachers from IES Trevenque attended a series of workshops held in Sivas (Turkey) from November 10th to 14th, 2025.
During these days, the teachers from our school were able to work in collaboration with participants of other nationalities who are taking part in the project, such as colleagues from Greece, Poland, and Turkey—in this case, the organizers of the event.
Throughout the visit, they explored the facilities of the host institution and observed how they support students with special educational needs, focusing their training on autonomy and integration into the labour market. They also worked with digital tools applicable to environmental education, using simple programmes and applications of different kinds that can be used on computers, mobile phones, or tablets.
This makes it possible to use them directly in nature, bringing learning closer to real-life settings and making it much more contextualised. They even tested the tools themselves outdoors, outside the classroom, in various green and urban areas.

TERCERA MOVILIDAD EN SIVAS (TURQUÍA)
En el desarrollo del Programa Erasmus+ SEED4SEN (Strengthening Environmental Education methoDs for Students with Special Educational Needs – Fortalecimiento de los Métodos de Educación Ambiental en la Educación Especial) dos profesores del IES Trevenque han asistido a unas jornadas celebradas en Sivas (Turquía) del 10 al 14 de Noviembre de 2025.
Durante dichos días el profesorado de nuestro centro ha podido trabajar en colaboración con los componentes de las otras nacionalidades que han llevado a cabo este proyecto, como han sido los compañeros y las compañeras de Grecia, Polonia y Turquía, en este caso los organizadores de tales jornadas.
Durante estos días han conocido las instalaciones del centro receptor y han visto como atienden al alumnado con necesidades educativas especiales, enfocando su formación a la autonomía y la inserción en el mercado laboral. También han trabajado con herramientas digitales que se pueden aplicar a la educación medioambiental, a través de sencillos programas y aplicaciones de diferente índole que pueden ser usadas tanto en ordenadores como en teléfonos móviles o tabletas, lo cual facilita el hecho de poder ser utilizadas en la misma naturaleza, haciendo el aprendizaje más cercano y mucho más contextualizado, habiendo probado ellos mismos su utilidad en el exterior, fuera del aula, en distintas zonas tanto verdes como urbanas.
