FILM PROJECT 3º ESO

Our students from 3º ESO, groups A, B and E, have become film directors, producers and actors and actresses for a week during their English lessons.

After working the vocabulary and structures needed to talk about a film within the integrated bilingual project of Dune, they have engaged in creating and writing a plot for a film of their choice.

For that purpose, our students have had to choose first a film genre and then write the plot, choose the main characters (and the cast to play those characters), the setting of the story and the soundtrack. Some of them have even composed their own soundtrack!

After designing a poster for the film, the students have recorded a trailer as the final part of the project and the result has been amazing, as you all can see in some of the trailers.

Their English teacher, Mercedes Castro, is quite proud of her students’ originality, effort, and creativity. Surely, we can find among them some prospects in the film industry.

Nuestros alumnos de 3º ESO A, B y E se han convertido, durante una semana, en directores de cine, productores y actores/actrices en sus clases de inglés.

Después de trabajar el vocabulario y las estructuras necesarias para hablar de una película, dentro del proyecto bilingüe integrado Dune, se han sumergido en la creación y redacción del argumento para una película a su elección.

Para tal fin, nuestros alumnos han tenido que elegir primero un género cinematográfico y después escribir el argumento, elegir los personajes principales (y el elenco para representar dichos personajes), la localización de la historia y la banda sonora. ¡Algunos hasta han compuesto su propia banda sonora!

Después de diseñar un póster para la película, los alumnos han grabado el tráiler como el producto final del proyecto y el resultado ha sido increíble, como podéis ver en algunos de estos trailers.

Su profesora de inglés, Mercedes Castro, está muy orgullosa de la originalidad, esfuerzo y creatividad de sus alumnos. Seguro que podremos encontrar a algunas promesas de la industria cinematográfica entre ellos.
