From Sunday 26th April to Thursday 30th April, two teachers from the Erasmus+ Team at IES Trevenque took part in the first transnational activity of the Erasmus+ AI@School project, held in Nurmijärvi, near Helsinki, Finland.
It was an intense three-day programme of work, cooperation, the exchange of good educational practices, and social activities.
The first day began with presentations of the different schools participating in the project, followed by a welcome from the Finnish host school. This was followed by working sessions, and the day ended with a visit to the lake near the school, as well as sports and team-building activities.
The second working day was more theoretical, with sessions on AI literacy and the ethics of using AI, during which all participants shared their ideas on how to promote and improve its responsible use. Afterwards, we watched a promotional video about the region at the local cinema and visited the town of Porvoo to round off the day.
Thursday was devoted to a series of presentations on the current state of AI use at each participating school. The day concluded with a very enriching exchange of ideas on how to continue developing the project during the upcoming transnational activities. The programme ended with a visit to the city of Helsinki.

PRIMERA ACTIVIDAD TRANSNACIONAL EN NURMIJÄRVI (FINLANDIA)
Desde el domingo 26 al jueves 30 de abril, 2 profesores pertenecientes al Equipo Erasmus+ del IES Trevenque han participado en la primera actividad transnacional del proyecto Erasmus+ AI@School, celebrada en la localidad de Nurmijärvi, cerca de Helsinki, Finlandia.
Han sido tres jornadas de trabajo intenso, cooperación, intercambio de buenas prácticas educativas y de convivencia.
La primera jornada comenzó con la presentación de los diferentes centros que participan en el proyecto y la bienvenida por parte del centro finlandés anfitrión. Le siguieron las sesiones de trabajo y el día terminó con una visita al lago cercano al centro y actividades deportivas y de convivencia.
El segundo día de trabajo fue más teórico con sesiones sobre la alfabetización dentro de la IA y sobre la ética en el uso de la misma, con la aportación de todos los participantes sobre cómo mejorar su uso. Después, el visionado de un vídeo promocional de la región en el cine local y la visita a la localidad de Porvoo para terminar la jornada.
El jueves estuvo dedicado a una ronda de presentaciones sobre la situación del uso de la IA en cada centro participante que terminó con un intercambio muy rico de ideas para continuar con el proyecto en las próximas actividades transnacionales. La jornada concluyó con una visita a la ciudad de Helsinki.
